Mermaids Everywhere! McDowell Mermaids offer state-of-the-art Mermaid swimming lessons in Surrey, where learning is fun for everyone. We offer specially structured children and adult mermaiding classes to help you live the magical sub aqua land known only to the Mermaids and Mermen.

Swim Test
To take our Swim Test, you must be
- Minimum 6 Years of age
- Able to swim 25 metres at ease
- Able to immerse your face fully while swimming
- Able to manoeuvre in both shallow and deep water
- Capable of raising your knees and twisting 360 degrees in both directions
- Proficient in a basic 5 metre dolphin kick
Our Gallery
McDowell Mermaids use different locations in beautiful Sussex, Surrey, and Kent. Our heated swimming pool at Dorking measures 15 metres x 3.5 metres and comes with an all-weather enclosed space. So come summer or winter, it is fun non-stop! With our refurbished changing facilities, shower rooms, and toilets, you can leave all your worries behind and dip in the amazing experience. We are happy to come to your own pool as well!
